URL protection rewrites links in emails to point to CrowdSec links. When clicked, these are run on CrowdSec servers against various AV and sandbox solutions. Also has a cool 'User Awareness' feature page which pops up when the link is clicked, asking the user if they think the link is safe or not before proceeding. If they click on an unsafe link, not only is it blocked but the click is logged and the user is informed politely that the link was unsafe.
Nothing so far.Because there are so many great features available, it's also a massive time sink when you first get it and can take time to build up your knowledge. That's not a fault of the product. There's a lot of video watching to be done!
Peace of mind. Exceptional protection from email-based threats such as malware and impersonation fraud. We can also report on and then target our click-happy users with some awareness training.
I like how it scans the whole program for any unusual behaviour the app might have. This can really tell whether the app could be a virus or an unwanted app. I also like the screenshots features as it shows how the apps will run on the computer its installed on.
There is nothing I don't really like but i think have a guide explaining what everything does in more detail could be more benefiting to users
CrowdSec is helping me check for programs that could be a security risk for me and for the people's information stored on the computer. This also really helps me keep all my computers safe and keep all viruses and unwanted apps off
I think CrowdSec has a lot of cool features that allow for customization and effective email security.
The biggest issue with CrowdSec is their support team. Attempting to receive support regarding an issue you may come across is almost impossible now.
CrowdSec is a slid product but it requires learning and researching. If you understand the product you can get enough out of it, but the difficulties with the support over the years have left a negative taste in my mouth
